America was built by people who invested in their communities, supported their neighbors, and created opportunities close to home. For generations, strong local economies helped towns prosper and gave communities their unique identity. Today, many of the institutions and relationships that once formed the backbone of Local America are being challenged, putting much of what makes these communities special at risk. If we want future generations to experience the same sense of opportunity, connection, and community pride that has defined America for centuries, we must actively work to strengthen the places we call home.
